2011 SABEW Annual Best in Business Awards

“Creative Use Across Multiple Platforms” and the “Investigative” awards for The Shanghai Numbers, its special investigation into Chinese stocks and the SEC’s probe into fraud conspiracies that brought Chinese companies to U.S. markets through a back-door process known as the reverse takeover. Reporters Scott Eden and Rob Holmes led the investigation and TheStreet’s multimedia team of Kevin LeVick, Meredith Longo and Joel Regus, lead by Deputy Managing Editor Art Lenehan, made the visual presentation and multimedia experience tremendously engaging.

Scott Eden’s coverage of the growing problem of piracy in a package called The Pirates’ Toll: High Stakes on the High Seas, earned the “Feature” award.

Adam Feuerstein’s columns about the Biotech industry won the “Opinion/Column” award.
